Our Story
At Boderia, our journey is a testament to our shared passion for innovation and our determination to revolutionise the beauty industry. Our story began with a dynamic father-daughter duo, Derek and Chloe, who set out to simplify the lives of salon owners through cutting-edge technology and strategic marketing.
Derek, a seasoned software engineer with over two decades of experience, had worked extensively with various open-source software and even developed custom extensions. However, he often encountered limitations and drawbacks in these existing solutions. Fueled by a desire for something better, he embarked on a mission to create his own Growth Platform.
In 2020, Chloe joined Derek at Adonis Media, working alongside him while also holding a part-time role at a beauty salon. Her time in the salon shed light on the frustrating challenges they faced with their existing software - limitations, technical issues, and downtime. Leveraging Derek's software expertise and her firsthand knowledge of what the beauty industry needed in a booking system, Boderia was born.
